Early Intervention For Minors

An Eight Hour Educational Workshop For Minors (ages 14-20)

COURSE OVERVIEW & OBJECTIVES

Participants in this program will learn:

the effects of alcohol and drugs on the mind and body
the risks associated with using alcohol and drugs
the laws and penalties for minors using alcohol and drugs in Washington

Partipants will then:

examine the consequences of their arrest
assess their personal relationship with alcohol and drugs
explore the impact of alcohol and drugs on their relationships, family, friends, and communities
and finally develop their own action plan to avoid future problems with alcohol and drugs
